They need driver's licenses.

And they offer handyman
services!
YOU CAN HELP
. . . so they can succeed.

OUR MISSION
We aim to assist Career Technical Education construction students who have the skills but do not have the means to enter the trade industry immediately upon graduation. We focus on helping these students acquire driver training / education so they are licensed by graduation and providing them with the basic work tools and protective workwear necessary to get that entry-level trade job as soon as they finish high school. We also offer handyman services for simple repairs and projects in the community. See our menu or click below for more details!

OUR STORY
Boots & Bags is a youth-centered public charity inspired by one teacher's eye-opening experience in a high school Career Technical Education classroom; he observed that some of his most talented, capable, and eager students were unable to find a job after graduation because they did not have a driver's license or proper tools and workwear. As a result, these graduates sought employment in other industries and seldom returned to the trades. As anyone in the industry knows, entry-level workers need to come equipped with proper boots, work clothing, basic tools, and a driver's license for the best chance to get the job.
Boots & Bags was created to provide these core resources to our most prospective graduates in order to ease this transition and empower them to secure their first trade jobs immediately. We are dedicated to funding Driver's Ed Training and providing basic tool packages and workwear to such CTE graduates. Our goal is to bridge the gap between education and employment, offering practical support to enable students' job prospects and ensure a successful start in the workforce.
